Gloucestershire Managed Services is pleased to announce the  appointment of our new Chair,

She will take up her role on 1 April 2023, and brings over 20 years public sector executive and senior management experience.

Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) are Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust wholly owned subsidiary estates and facilities company.

Speaking about her new role, Kaye said: “I am extremely proud to be taking up the role of Chair and on the landmark 5th anniversary of Gloucestershire Managed Services. I have already seen many of our departments at work during my previous role for GMS, and I look forward to meeting many more in the coming months.”

“Our staff provide a critical role within the hospitals, ensuring patients and staff are supported and able to receive the best quality care. From medical engineering, domestic and catering, portering, estates and facilities, our teams are integral to the overall success of the Trust.”

Kaye has extensive public sector experience in designing and delivering complex national and regional change programmes, including for agencies of the Home Office, and the NHS. She is a Senior Independent Director of a social housing provider, and she has been an independent board member for five housing associations since 2003.

She has chaired subsidiary companies and committees including commercial asset management and development, operations, audit and risk, remuneration and professional standards, and numerous executive recruitment panels.  Kaye has degrees in management systems, health management and rural resource management, and lives locally. 

Deborah Evans, Chair of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: “I am delighted that Kaye will be joining GMS as the new Chair and will sit on our Trust Board as an Associate Non-Executive Director. She is an experienced Chair and Board Member, and her appointment is hugely welcomed.

“I look forward to working closely with her in helping to continue to transform our hospitals and making them a great place to work and receive care.”
