Administrative Assistant
We’re seeking an organised and reliable Administrative Assistant to support a range of business functions across the organisation.
This six-month fixed-term opportunity is based across Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital and offers a varied administration role supporting finance, procurement and operational teams. You’ll work with a range of colleagues and systems, helping to ensure day-to-day processes run smoothly, records are maintained accurately and essential services are effectively supported.
Location: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (with travel to other sites as required)
Salary: £25,641 per annum pro rata £13.11 per hour
Position: Fixed term contract, Part-time
Electrical Craftsperson
We’re looking for an Electrical Craftsperson to join our Estates team, helping to maintain the buildings and services that support patient care across Gloucestershire Hospitals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical qualification who is looking to develop their skills within a large, diverse and supportive Estates environment.
Location: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (with travel to other sites as required)
Salary: £26,179 per annum, plus on-call and unsocial hours enhancements
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Security Supervisor
We’re looking for experienced security professionals who are ready to play a key role in delivering a safe, secure and responsive security service across our hospital sites.
As a Security Supervisor, you’ll lead and support a team of Security Officers within a busy hospital environment. You’ll coordinate day-to-day security operations, oversee incident response, support investigations and reporting activities, and help ensure high standards of professionalism, compliance and customer service are maintained across the team. The role requires the ability to deal confidently with challenging situations, including incidents involving violence and aggression, whilst demonstrating empathy, discretion and respect when supporting patients, visitors and staff. You’ll work closely with clinical teams, emergency services and the Security Manager to help maintain a safe and secure environment across our hospital sites.
Location: Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals
Salary: £29,333 per annum, plus unsocial hours enhancements for nights, weekends and public holidays
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Security Officer
Every day across our hospitals, our Security Officers play an important part in helping patients, visitors and staff feel safe and supported.
We’re looking for professional, reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our Security Team. This is a varied role where no two shifts are the same. One moment you may be carrying out patrols or responding to security incidents, and the next you may be supporting vulnerable patients, assisting clinical teams or helping visitors in difficult situations.
You’ll need to remain calm under pressure, communicate confidently and handle challenging situations professionally, including incidents involving violence and aggression. Just as importantly, you’ll demonstrate empathy, discretion and respect when supporting people during what can often be stressful or distressing circumstances.
Location: Gloucestershire Hospitals
Salary: From £26,179 per annum, plus unsocial hours enhancements for nights, weekends and public holidays
