Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) is proud to announce its participation in Lions at Large, an exciting public art trail set to captivate communities across Cheltenham and Gloucester from July to September 2025. This inspiring initiative will feature over 30 magnificent lion sculptures, each uniquely designed and painted by local artists to reflect Gloucestershire’s heritage, culture, and diversity. The event will also showcase smaller ‘little lions,’ lovingly decorated by local schools and community groups, creating a world-class, free art trail through the region’s streets, parks, and public spaces.

Organised by the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity, Lions at Large aims to raise essential funds for new cancer facilities in Cheltenham, supporting vital care for thousands across Gloucestershire. GMS is thrilled to stand alongside the community in supporting this cause, working together to make a difference for those in need of specialised treatment.

“As an organisation deeply connected to the local healthcare landscape, GMS is honoured to support Lions at Large,” said Mike Gregson, Managing Director of Gloucestershire Managed Services. “Our work within the Trust is driven by a commitment to create safe and welcoming environments for patients, visitors, and staff. Partnering with this initiative aligns with our values, and we’re excited to see the funds raised enhance cancer care facilities that will benefit so many in our community.”

“We are so grateful for the continued generous support from Gloucestershire Managed Services,” said Karen Organ, Partnership Manager at Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity. “This partnership will have a lasting impact, helping us to transform cancer care in Gloucestershire, touching the lives of countless individuals in our community. We are also excited to support initiatives that promote staff involvement and wellbeing – we understand that an engaged and supported workforce is fundamental to a positive and thriving workplace.”
