New Theatres Handed Over to Cheltenham General Hospital

The Capital division of Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) are thrilled to share the successful handover of two new orthopaedic standard operating theatres at Cheltenham General Hospital, marking the completion of Phase 5 in our Strategic Site Development programme. The brand-new orthopaedic theatres, represent a significant leap forward in our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community. These state-of-the-art facilities are designed to provide unparalleled care for patients requiring orthopaedic surgery, ensuring optimal outcomes and enhanced patient experiences.

Our orthopaedic theatres are equipped with the latest advancements in medical technology, offering precision and efficiency in every procedure. From advanced imaging systems for accurate preoperative planning to specialized surgical equipment for minimally invasive techniques, we have spared no effort in creating an environment conducive to excellence in orthopaedic care.

Positioned at the 1st floor level, seamlessly linking the existing theatre block to the adjacent Surgical Block, this project posed unique challenges with limited access and space. Despite the hurdles, our team of skilled and dedicated professionals has delivered a high-quality build that the users are already very excited about.
