Kaye Law Fox was recently invited to speak at the Women on Boards event in Cardiff to share her insights and perspectives on boardroom leadership.

Current research* of the four senior-most roles (Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chair, and Senior Independent Director) of companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (All-Share and AIM listed), shows significant under representation of women and women of colour with just 13% held by women and 0.7% held by women of colour. What’s more, the number of all male boards across AIM listed boards has increased to over a third.
Since its launch in 2012 Women on Boards exists to improve diversity in executive and non-executive leadership. It is an open, inclusive network spanning all sectors, professions and career stages, to support those professionals in their early / mid-career to develop their strategic experience, alongside busy day jobs, to step up to more competitive board roles as they build non-executive portfolios.
Kaye is Chair of GMS, Associate Non-Executive Director of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and is the Senior Independent Director of Barcud, a registered social housing provider in Wales. She has held independent board member positions since 2003.
